Hall Electric, LLC is a locally-owned electrical company proudly based in Vermont’s Northeast Kingdom, serving northern Vermont and New Hampshire.
Founded in 2022, the company was built on a respect for electricity’s role in everyday life and a commitment to ensuring every installation and repair as safe as possible through careful, reliable work.
Hall Electric is a one-person company operated by master electrician Wayne. From the first email to the final walkthrough, clients work with the person handling every stage of the job ensuring clear communication, consistency, and reliable workmanship.
For Wayne, the most rewarding part of the job is seeing the direct impact of the work- lights turning on, heating systems coming back online, and homeowners feeling confident that their electrical systems are safe.

I'm a long-time Northeast Kingdom resident and grateful to be raising my son here alongside my wife. Life in the NEK has shaped a lot of who I am, and working on some of the oldest homes in Vermont is part of what makes electrical work so captivating.
Outside of work, you'll usually find me spending time with my family, hiking local trails, tending to our chickens, or listening to podcasts and audiobooks (often about electrical history, innovation, and policy!)
I decided to enlist in the Vermont National Guard in 2020 as a Combat Medic. Through that experience, I've had the opportunity to train and serve alongside remarkable people while supporting efforts overseas in Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and Greece.
I'm lucky to say my idea of a perfect day isn't all that different from a typical workday. It's a cool Vermont spring morning at an old farmhouse tucked away on a dirt road. Coffee in hand, audiobook playing in the background, I spend the day solving problems and working with my hands to improve the life of someone in my community. Somewhere along the way, hopefully the homeowner's dog stops by to supervise.
I got into the electrical trade through a lifelong interest in practical, hands-on work. I find the problem-solving aspect of electrical work especially engaging, and helping homeowners make their homes safer, more comfortable, and better suited to their needs is deeply rewarding. I’m proud to work in a field I genuinely enjoy, from learning about the rich history of electrical systems to applying modern solutions as technology and industry standards continue to adapt.
I began my apprenticeship in 2017 where I had the uncommon privilege of learning directly from two Master Electricians who helped shape both my technical skills and my approach to the trade. I became a Master Electrician in New Hampshire in 2023 and in Vermont in 2024. Since then, I have continued to pursue additional certifications and specialized training wherever opportunities exist. I believe ongoing education is incredibly important as the electrical field continues to advance, and I continue to develop my skills through intentional research and ongoing conversations with electricians across the country. I am always looking for ways to refine my skills and improve the quality of my work.
I currently serve as a Year 2 instructor for the Vermont Electrical Apprenticeship Program teaching National Electrical Code fundamentals. The first apprentices I taught completed their second year in the spring of 2025. They will have completed their fourth and final year of school in the spring of 2027, and I look forward to seeing their names among the newly licensed electricians recognized by Vermont and New Hampshire.
I'm grateful for the opportunity to help homeowners better understand their electrical systems, from the safety requirements behind today's standards to the history and innovations that continue to shape the trade.
Now when you need an elecrician, today or down the road, you can say, "I've got a guy for that!"
